After graduation, Erika will work part time as a veterinary assistant at Richland Animal Clinic.

Explore two other potential places you might work with animals and place them on the MAP. Be sure to add a picture. Find a video that discusses jobs at that workplace and add them to your MAP. Add 3 things you might like about this job and 3 things you might not like about the job. MAP two past internship sites and upload any evaluations from your job coach or supervisor. Add a 5-sentence reflection on your experience and any pictures of you at work. Add VR to your MAP with a link to the website.

After graduation, Erika will enroll in the veterinary assistant class at Nashville State Community College to learn more work skills.

Tour the campus and upload a picture of the campus or video about their programs and supports.

After graduation, Erika will work out 2x per week. She will visit the park and complete daily activities with support from family and friends.

After graduation, Erika will live in an apartment with her friend Paula near her family home.

Visit an apartment complex and take 3 pictures of the apartment. Write up 3 things you liked and didn’t like about the complex. Complete the google doc with a sample budget for the apartment you like the most. Research services at the Arc and write about services that might help you. Interview someone from the Arc about a service that might help you and add to the MAP. Take pictures of one bus stop near each complex that you might take to work. Map the bus route you would take. Research the Center for Independent Living to find a class that might support computer skills.
